Continuing on my journey of self love, I am closing 2019, looking and feeling great thanks to a collaboration with Killingsworth Plastic Surgery!
As most of you know, I am constantly making silly faces and am a very animated speaker, so over the last year I have noticed some fine lines start to form around my eyes (crows feet) and on my forehead. I wasn’t extremely worried about the natural aging process, but when I learned about preventive Botox to get ahead of the wrinkles, my interest was piqued.
Lauren, the PA that did my Botox at Killingsworth started our appointment with a consultation and asked me what I didn’t like and made me feel heard. She wasn’t trying to push what she liked on me and she knew it was my first time getting Botox, so she made sure I was okay throughout the whole process.
My treatment took about 40 units of Botox and I’m sure the main question I will get is, “did it hurt?” I feel like I might be the wrong person to answer that because I have a pretty high pain tolerance; I’m okay with shots and getting tattoos, but a needle in sensitive parts of your face do sting a little bit! It was over so quickly though and I’m loving my results, so I would definitely do it again!
One thing that really stood out to me about Killingsworth was their expertise in so many other cosmetic surgeries, whereas a traditional MedSpa might not have as qualified training in all things cosmetic. I knew I was in good hands, literally.
I know this post might not be for everyone, but I thank you for respecting my decisions!
I loved getting to meet you Talia! I hope you are loving your results 🙂 Have a Happy Holiday!
